A home on the web for a family-owned BBQ spot in Westbrook, Maine
Paper City Barbecue needed a fast, mobile-friendly site that could show off the food, funnel guests to the right ordering channel, and make it easy to inquire about catering. Built as a static Next.js export on Firebase Hosting with a SendGrid-backed catering inquiry form.
The Goal
Paper City had a basic WordPress site with PDF scans of their menu and no online ordering links. They needed a modern site that captured the restaurant's personality — smoked meats, craft cocktails, and 50+ whiskeys — while cleanly directing guests to the right action: order online, book catering, or find the restaurant.

Three order options (Upserve Takeout, CarHop Delivery, DoorDash) surfaced without overwhelming the menu experience.

A dedicated catering inquiry form that routes leads directly to the owners' inbox with a customer confirmation email.
