Sparks

Privacy Policy

Effective July 3, 2026

Sparks: Build Your Fire is a daily habit tracker published by Sky Forward Design. Each day it asks you to appreciate something happening now and to work toward something that pays off later. This policy describes what data the app does and does not handle. The short version: Sparks has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking, and your entries never leave your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Sparks has no user accounts and never asks for your name, email address, age, location, contacts, photos, or any other identifier. It does not request advertising IDs, does not contain advertising, and does not include analytics or crash reporting SDKs.

We operate no servers for Sparks. The app sends no data to Sky Forward Design, and we cannot see anything you write in it. This matches the app’s published store declarations: “Data Not Collected” on the App Store, and “No data collected, no data shared with third parties” on Google Play.

What stays on your device

Everything Sparks stores lives only in the app’s local storage on your phone and is never uploaded:

  • Your daily entries. What you write for today and for the future, every day you use the app.
  • Streaks and history. Which days you completed and the record of past entries the app shows you.
  • Settings. Preferences such as your daily reminder time.

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is scheduled on your device by the operating system. It does not depend on any server and sends nothing anywhere. You can decline the notification permission or turn reminders off at any time; the rest of the app works the same either way.

Third-party services

The Apple App Store and Google Play process the app install and updates under their own privacy policies. Sparks itself embeds no third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs, and it shares no data with third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Your entries stay on your device until you remove them. Deleting the app or clearing its data through iOS or Android settings removes everything Sparks has stored. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on any server.

Children

Sparks is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children either.

Changes to this policy

Material changes are reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. If a future version of Sparks ever introduces a category of data collection, this policy and the store listings will describe it before it takes effect.
